Waiting On is for somebody else’s next move

If you have sent the email, made the request or submitted the form and another person now has to act, put it in Waiting On.

Add a follow-up date when there is a sensible point to chase it. That is more useful than repeatedly remembering it at random.

Life Admin is for recurring practical obligations

Renewals, subscriptions, insurance, documents, bills and similar items fit Life Admin because they often have a provider, due date, status and recurrence.

The point is visibility. You do not need to turn every household detail into a project.

Use Search when you only remember the provider

Search can find the provider name, notes, status or other text you saved. That is useful when you remember who something was with but not where you recorded it.

Keep passwords and banking credentials out of Life, Sorted.; use tools designed for secrets instead.
