Search is for recall, not perfect organisation
You do not need to remember exactly where you put something. Search looks across tasks, appointments, notes, lists, contacts, routines, goals and other everyday records.
Search for the words you are likely to remember: a person, place, provider, task name, appointment, note phrase or part of a link.
Saved is for repeat access
Search answers “where did I put that?” Saved answers “I know I will want this again.” Save a task, pin a note, favourite a list or keep a reference when it deserves a shortcut.
A saved item still has one source. Opening it takes you back to the original record, so you are not maintaining duplicate copies.
Keep the bar high
If everything is saved, Saved becomes another long list. Keep it for things you genuinely revisit or need close at hand.
You can always unsave something later without deleting the original.
